  • Client's Challenge

    One of the world's largest retailers initiated a transformative journey within its supply chain organization, catalyzed by the implementation of a cutting-edge Transportation Management System (TMS). This comprehensive overhaul demanded a complete reimagination of the roles and functions interfacing with the TMS, the refinement of supporting business processes, and seamless integration with existing technologies. Structured around seven strategic workstreams, comprising cross-functional teams and vendor contributors, the transformation aimed to unlock the full potential of the new TMS. Recognizing the complexity and interdependence of these workstreams, the client identified the need for a robust Program Management Office (PMO) to orchestrate these efforts systematically.

    DotConnect collaborated closely with key client stakeholders to craft a comprehensive roadmap, outlining key milestones crucial to the success of the transformation. In light of the cross-functional nature of the work across multiple interdependent workstreams, this roadmap served as a dynamic tool for integrated tracking and regular review, mitigating the risk of isolated silos of work.
